Bowyers' Prize Day at Burnham, Saturday 4 July 2015

Another beautiful sunny July day saw the Master Bower, the Reverend John Hayton, present the Bowyers' gold, silver and bronze medals to the gentlemen's and ladies' competition winners at the Royal Toxophilite Society's annual Bowyers' Prize Day competition for both recurve and compound modern bows.


The archery field at Burnham, with over 40 competitors shooting both compund and recurve bows.


The proportion of competitors shooting compound and recurve bows has evolved to about 50/50.
