Charity Quiz Trophy Regained
On Tuesday evening 24 October 2023, the Bowyers' Quiz Team was delighted to regain the Suited & Booted Charity Quiz Trophy from our long-standing fellow Suited & Booted supporters, the Company of Actuaries, and seven other teams. In a boisterous evening at the Steam Wine Bar near Monument, the quiz consisted of 100 questions in 10 categories, set as ever by S&B's Mike Thomas. The Bowyers' team was on good form, getting 80 right answers, including 9/10 for Paintings, Politics and Music and 8/10 for five other categories, only falling below 8 in the minefields of Sport and Geography.
What with an entry fee and a big raffle, these evenings are not only great fun, they raise a healthy donation toward Suited & Booted's operating funds; long may they continue.
