On 24th April 2024 the Bowyers and assembled guests, over 100 strong, had a superb banquet at the Haberdashers’ Hall. This is the showpiece event for the Bowyers and particularly with its supported charities which Bowyers, partners and guests attend for St George’s every year.
It was a first for the Bowyers at Haberdashers’ Hall in many years, if ever, and was put together with the help of the Clerk and Beadle to the Haberdashers’ and with Past Master Haberdasher, Deborah Knight, who attended the dinner as well.
We were especially delighted to welcome the Master Watermen and Lightermen of the River Thames, as well as our principal speaker, Alderman Barr. Liveryman Jenkins, welcomed our guests, to whom Alderman Barr responded in style.
