Craft Guild Bowyers' Award for Warbow
A highlight of the annual Guildmote of our close affiliate the Craft Guild of Traditional Bowyers and Fletchers is always after lunch, when the warbows submitted for Guild approval are taken out into the field to be test-shot. Warbows submitted must have a minimum draw weight of 85lbs, and when shot by a Guild Master, using the Guild's standard 31.5" arrow, must reach at least the required minimum distance of 11-score yards (one furlong).
